François Conti Head of Business and Application Development
François Conti is a co-founder of Force Dimension and is responsible for developing new applications and partnerships with medical companies, research institutions, and industries. François also leads the development of the CHAI3D open-source haptic visualization libraries and is a lecturer of the Experimental Haptics course at Stanford University. François holds a B.S., M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, and a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University.
Sébastien GrangeHead of Operations and Software Development
Sébastien Grange is a co-founder of Force Dimension and is responsible for world-wide operations and business development. Sébastien also serves as the head of software development at Force Dimension. Sébastien is an expert in medical human-computer interaction and has managed research projects in the medical, nanomanipulation and robotic fields funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), and in partnerships with Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), SRI International and University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB). Sébastien holds a B.S., M.S. and a Ph.D. from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne.
Patrick HelmerHead of Intellectual Property and Mechanical Design
Patrick Helmer is a co-founder of Force Dimension and serves as the company's director of Intellectual Property. Patrick is an expert in kinematics and robotic design and has managed numerous research projects in the medical field funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). Patrick holds a B.S., M.S. and a Ph.D. in Micro Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne.
Patrice RouillerHead of Manufacturing and Product Development
Patrice Rouiller is a co-founder of Force Dimension and serves as the company's director of manufacturing and product development since the company's inception in August 2001. In 1998, Patrice joined the VRAI group at EPFL where he co-developed the first delta haptic device. During that time, Patrice also directed research efforts in the area of haptic interfaces and medical robot design. Patrice holds a B.S and a M.S. in Micro Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne.
